Scam warning

Like many visible brands, Tanzlite Digital may be impersonated by scammers using our name, logo, or team identities. Treat any unexpected message claiming to be from us with caution.

What we will never do

  • We don’t hire via WhatsApp/Telegram/SMS. No “part-time online job,” no “quick application,” no “admin fee.”
  • We don’t run “investment opportunities.” If someone asks for money in our name, it’s a scam.
  • We don’t use foreign “representatives.” No overseas numbers “recruiting for Tanzlite.”
  • We never ask you to buy products/services to join a role or process payments on our behalf.

Official channels & identity

  • Website: tanzlite.com
  • Email: team members use @tanzlite.com only
  • Social: only the accounts linked from our website

If you’re unsure, don’t engage. Forward any suspicious message to shukuru(at)tanzlite.com for verification.

Known scam pattern (from November 2023 incident)

Scammers blasted WhatsApp with messages like:

“I am a Senior Representative at Tanzlite Digital… we’re hiring online employees for part-time/full-time…”
These were fake messages using random names and foreign numbers. Some people lost money after engaging.

How to verify a message

  1. Check the sender. Is the email @tanzlite.com? Is the phone number listed on our website?
  2. Cross-check the role. We don’t use titles like “Senior Representative Officer.”
  3. Go direct. Contact us via shukuru(at)tanzlite.com or the phone number on tanzlite.com—not the number that contacted you.
  4. Watch for pressure tactics. Urgency, secrecy, or payment requests = red flag.

If you suspect a scam

  • Do not reply, click, or pay.
  • Block and report the number/account on WhatsApp/Telegram/SMS.
  • Report locally to the relevant authority (e.g., Cybercrime Unit) and your mobile network.
  • Forward the evidence to us so we can alert others.

Our hiring policy (so you know what’s normal)

  • We prioritize talent we discover on LinkedIn and through our network.
  • We will contact you from @tanzlite.com and may invite you to a scheduled video call.
  • No fees, no airtime requests, no purchases—ever.
